Hello! The Wildcat Parent Committee will be meeting on October 9th @ 5:30pm. This is the 1st one of the year and we'd love to see a lot of new and old faces! We will be meeting once a month.

Greetings Walter P. Carter Elementary/Middle School community,
To keep you informed when events impact our students' health and safety, we have an update about some social media posts that have come to our attention.
We recently learned of posts on Instagram about violence against our school, and a potential prank involving a fire alarm. While we have not verified the threat, we take such comments seriously. School staff immediately notified City Schools Police and other and will continue to work with them to keep our school safe.
Rest assured, we will continue to take all necessary steps to ensure the safety of our students and staff. We understand that recent events have heightened everyone's emotions and concerns for their wellbeing. Please speak with your children and encourage them that report any suspicious activity -- if you see something, say something. Please remember, our best defense against such threats is our community.
We are working closely with the City School Police to ensure that we can continue our work and provide a safe learning environment for everyone. We are moving forward with our normal school day, and we appreciate your support. If you have questions or concerns, contact me at 410-396-6271.
Sincerely,
Principal Eldridge
