Dear Beechfield Families,
We are excited to welcome you back for the 2026–2027 school year! As we prepare for another amazing year, there is one very important step that every family must complete before school begins. All families must complete the Baltimore City Public Schools Annual Student Verification process. This process confirms your child's enrollment, verifies your address and contact information, updates emergency contacts, and ensures your child is placed in a classroom before the first day of school. This verification is required every year—even if nothing has changed. Families complete it through the City Schools Campus Portal. More information is available here: https://www.baltimorecityschools.org/page/annual-student-verification.
Please note: Students who have not completed Annual Student Verification may experience delays in classroom placement and may not be able to begin school in their assigned classroom on the first day of school, Monday, August 24, 2026. We encourage all families to complete this process as soon as possible to ensure a smooth start to the school year.
As an added bonus, families who complete their Annual Student Verification will receive a Welcome Back to Beechfield Letter along with the 2026–2027 School Supply List, and 1 free uniform shirt!
If your family has moved:
Grades K–5: If you have moved outside the Beechfield attendance area but remain within Baltimore City, our staff will gladly assist you with enrolling in your neighborhood school.
Families who have moved outside Baltimore City: Please contact our main office as soon as possible so we can help facilitate your child's transfer to the appropriate school district.
Our theme this year is "Beechfield: Where Every Student Matters and Every Day Counts." We cannot wait to welcome your family back and begin another year of learning, growth, and success together.
Thank you for completing your Annual Student Verification BEFORE August 1st. We look forward to seeing everyone on August 24!
With Beechfield Pride,
Yvonne Grant
Principal
Beechfield Elementary Middle School
