📣 Dear Beechfield EMS Family — Parents, Students, and Staff, As of today, Monday, June 30th, 2025, I write this message with a full heart and misty eyes—because my journey as Community Schools Coordinator at Beechfield Elementary Middle School has come to a close. I’ll be stepping into a new opportunity—one I’m truly excited about—but this goodbye is anything but easy. 💔 In the halls, on the sidewalks, and within this community, we built something special together. From Parent Teacher Organization meetings where voices came together for the good of our children, to launching after school clubs that sparked joy, curiosity, and confidence—we made magic happen. I’ll never forget visiting families during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, delivering tech to ensure every child could still see their teacher, still raise their hand, and still have a chance. 💻💙 We’ve connected families to mentorship programs, tutoring, parenting support groups, and made sure no table went empty during Thanksgiving or under the tree at Christmas. 🎁🦃 And oh, the memories… ✨ Laughing and dancing at the Back 2 School BBQ 🎨 Watching dreams come to life at Live Art Auctions 🎤 Cheering on little stars at the Fashion Show 🛒 Giving hope through Food Pantry distributions 💬 Listening, planning, dreaming together in Focus Groups and Budget Meetings These moments weren’t just events—they were acts of love, and expressions of unity. Beechfield, you have shaped me in ways words can never fully capture. This community is forever etched in my soul. Though I may be moving forward, my heart remains with every family, every child, every teammate who made this journey unforgettable. Thank you for letting me serve you. 🌳✨ **Smiles, Giggles & Grass Stains — Our Littlest Cubs Took Over Blandair Park!** 🐝💛 On **Thursday, June 5th**, our **Pre-K & Kindergarten scholars** traded their desks for sunshine, bubbles, and big belly laughs at the **Picnic in the Park** at *Blandair Park* in Columbia, MD — and it was truly magical. 🧺💫 📸 From chasing butterflies and blowing bubbles to swinging high and snacking on sweet summer treats, this trip wasn’t just a field day — it was a *forever memory*. One student whispered, “This is the best day of my whole life…” 🥹💛 *Cue the happy tears.* These are the moments that make childhood feel like sunshine. ☀️ And for many of our little ones, this was their very first school trip ever — and they’ll never forget it.
