Southwest Baltimore Community School (SBCS) is a community school located in Southwest Baltimore's "Pig Town" area, adjacent to Carroll Park. Our mission is to provide each child with the tools necessary to live a fulfilling and productive life. Our curriculum is engaging and student-centered. Uniform:

On Monday-Thursday, all students must be in uniform. Our uniform consists of wearing shirts or hoodies with the SBCS Logo, SBCS-themed or Partnership Shirts (such as "Give Our City A Hug" or Outward Bound shirts), or solid t-shirts or polos in purple, navy, or gray. Students should wear khaki pants, skirts, dresses, or jumpers, or shorts. On Friday, as a privilege for students, we allow out-of-uniform days with certain parameters.
