Happy 1st Day 2.0! We are so excited to see our kiddos back in classrooms this morning. I know today is going to be full of questions and hiccups, and that’s okay, we will push through and make this experience a great one for our students and staff!
I will be hosting a virtual parent meeting tomorrow afternoon at 5:30 pm for anyone who has questions or concerns. I will send a link this afternoon.
Thank you to Ms. Zakrjewski, Talley Kovacs, Ashley Bessicks and all the staff and parent volunteers assisting with bus support this week! We also received word that the Sheriff’s office will be onsite at FSK today and tomorrow morning to support the influx of traffic.
Thank you to our PTO for your never-ending advocacy and support.
Please be mindful of parking at both FSK and the TM Campus. We cannot have anyone parking in the bus loops at all. We need the loops for all the buses.
We are also requesting that all early dismissals be done before 3PM while we’re on the TM Campus.
We are aware that the buses from Pigtown were late with picking up students this morning, so we are behind schedule…and that’s okay. We will get through and we will have an amazing day. On purpose!

This is a friendly reminder that tomorrow we will host parents and families from 9 am to 5 pm for our FSK-to-Thurgood Marshall Sneak-a-Peek tours. We will hold tours every hour on the hour, beginning at 9 am. During the tour, you will get to see the following spaces:
--Gym
--Auditorium
--Cafeteria
--Health suite
--Your student's grade-level floor
--Your student's classroom
If you are bringing supplies/donations, they will be placed outside the teacher's classroom. As they will be both providing instructional support for online learning and prepping their classrooms, teachers will not be available to discuss student issues/concerns during this time.
Remember, to get to the FSK entrance, please use 5001 Sinclair Lane, 21206, in your GPS. The Truesdale address takes you to the entrance of the other school.
We can't wait to see you!
The safety of our students and drivers is our top priority. Routes will be adjusted as needed based on road conditions, and families will be individually notified in the case of any changes.
MTA bus transportation may experience delays as well. We appreciate your patience and understanding during this prolonged period of inclement weather.
