BALTIMORE – The Baltimore City Board of Commissioners (Board) will meet at 10 a.m. Monday, April 20, 2026, to consider approving the appointment and employment contract for the new Chief Executive Officer of Baltimore City Public Schools (City Schools).
The meeting will take place in the Board Room at the district headquarters, 200 E. North Ave, Baltimore, MD 21202. A livestream of the meeting will be available at https://bit.ly/CitySchoolsCEOBoardVote. Board Chair Robert Salley and the new CEO will make brief comments after the vote.
At 10:30 a.m., a news conference about the announcement will take place in the Board Room. Board Chair Salley, the new CEO, and civic leaders will be present and offer comments. A livestream of the news conference will be available at https://bit.ly/CitySchoolsCEOBoardVotePressConference.
