Congratulations to Paul Laurence Dunbar High School on winning the MPSSAA 2A Boys Outdoor Track & Field State Championship!
With this result, the Dunbar Poets secured both the Outdoor and Indoor State Championship titles for the season, completing a sweep of state competition in their classification.
In February, the Dunbar Poets won the MPSSAA 2A Boys Indoor Track & Field State Championship. Their 4x800-meter relay team delivered a championship performance, and William Carranza captured first place in the 3200-meter run, helping secure the title.
