From May 27 to June 4, the Walters Art Museum will showcase the creativity and artistic talent of students from the Baltimore Leadership School for Young Women (BLSYW) in an exhibit entitled Baltimore, Imagined: Artists from the Baltimore Leadership School for Young Women.
This annual exhibition features standout artwork created during the 2025–2026 school year, including drawings, paintings, mixed-media works, and pieces inspired by the Walters collection Douriean Fletcher: Jewelry of the Afrofuture.
The Walters Art Museum will host a free closing reception on Thursday, June 4, from 5-7 p.m. at the Graham Auditorium and Sculpture Court, for the public to learn more about the exhibit, hear remarks by BLSYW art teacher Caroline Cook, and enjoy light refreshments.
