Stakeholders across the district have shared their vision for the next CEO, and their hope for City Schools. They have highlighted the priorities that matter most to students, families, staff, and the community. Input from focus groups, surveys, and community listening sessions helped the Board identify a set of Focus Areas and Values that will become the new Goals for the District.
These Focus Areas and Values will help shape the Board’s partnership with the CEO and the next strategic plan. The findings and an updated Community Engagement Report were presented at the March 3, 2026, public Board meeting.
In the coming months, the district will explore these focus areas in greater depth and continue gathering feedback. Community members are encouraged to share their perspectives by completing the online survey.
