Congratulations to Jaden Betts of Edmondson-Westside High School, who captured the MPSSAA 1A State Championship for the Boys 500m in 1:07.39, breaking a 15-year school record and moving into the Maryland Top 40 as the new #38 in the event.
Jaden is now the first individual male state champion in track and field in Edmondson history.
Off the track, Jaden continues his showstopping performance, earning a 4.0 in the second quarter. This is such a strong example of what discipline and focus can produce, on the track and in the classroom!
