Carver Vocational-Technical High School is a single-site, diploma awarding, career-technology center that is fully certified and accredited. Carver draws its students from the city-wide application process. Students are assigned by program area based on a competitive composite score. Students are enrolled in coursework that meets all Maryland high school diploma requirements, as well as the technical and career development course that meet MSDE completer sequences. Upon completion of these courses many students are college ready.

Thousands of Carver graduates serve the Baltimore community in leadership roles as well as entrepreneurship, government service, and technical trades. Our goal is to equip our graduates to be successful in the world of work or at college. The school seeks to be the career center school of choice for Baltimore City students.
