Frederick Douglass High School

#450

At Frederick Douglass High School, our focus is preparing students for college and careers. Our students have the opportunity to graduate with career certifications in a number of fields. We offer Career and Technology Education programs and a rigorous curriculum through which students can receive industry certifications and college credits, as well as other programming such as the Cab Calloway School of Music and our Army Junior ROTC program. More than 15 different sponsored clubs and 17 sports teams engage students in extracurricular activities. Please note that these high schools will be undergoing renovation in the coming years. During renovation, students will move into swing space: Baltimore Polytechnic Institute, Baltimore City College, Frederick Douglass High School, and Western Senior High School.
