Southwest Baltimore Charter School, a Title I school, seeks to provide each child with the tools necessary to live a fulfilling, productive life. The rigorous Expeditionary Learning school model is engaging and student-centered. Expeditionary Learning cultivates students' love of learning, curiosity, and critical thinking skills. We believe that academic success in the classroom is integrally linked to life and opportunities outside the classroom. SBCS is the intersection at which a child's academic, family and community lives come together to create a learning environment that is challenging, supportive and fun.
