City Schools TV

We keep our community updated via the district website and YouTube.

Student Media Team members visit schools and administrative offices, as well as explore Baltimore, to develop PSAs, news segments, and produce television shows. Check out some of their work below!

City Schools' Student Media Team

Since 2015, the City Schools Student Media Team has offered high school students hands-on, industry-level training in storytelling, video production, and media strategy. To date, more than 160 students from over 20 Baltimore City high schools have created more than 400 productions—including live multi-camera streams, television segments, promotional videos, and news stories. As part of the program, students receive paid positions, participate in formal professional development led by the Office of Communications, and gain access to industry professionals and real-world media experience.

The Student Media Team is currently accepting applications for the 2025-26 cohort. Click the link to apply today!
