State Testing Begins Next Week!

Dear Families,

Students in grades 3–8 will begin state testing on Monday, April 20th. It is extremely important that all students arrive on time each day so they can start testing without disruption.

Students will be completing the ELA MCAP assessment, which includes 4 sessions. Each session is 70 minutes long, and students will complete one session per day.

Summer Learning Programs 2026

Interested in taking AP courses during the summer? Rising 9th–12th-grade students are invited to apply for a FREE summer program. Eligible students will receive academic preparation for an AP course of their choice and take part in college visits or other college readiness activities. The program will be held at the Baltimore Design School from June 29 through July 30, Mondays–Thursdays, 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
