City Schools' Food & Nutrition Services Receives National Recognition

We’re proud to share that City Schools’ Food & Nutrition Services has been awarded the Healthy Meals Incentives Recognition Award from the USDA Food and Nutrition Service and Action for Healthy Kids.

This national recognition highlights our team’s innovative work connecting Farm to School education with our meal operations and Wellness Policy. This school year, our Farm to School programs reached over 14,000 students, helping strengthen the connection between healthy food, education, and student well-being. We look forward to expanding these efforts next year.

The Healthy Meals Incentives Awards spotlight school districts that implement innovative practices, engage students and communities, and align meals with the 2020–2025 Dietary Guidelines for Americans.

To learn more about our work, visit our Food & Nutrition Services page or explore the Farm to School home page.

Thank you to everyone who supports this important work for our students!
