The Baltimore City Board of Commissioners will meet at 10 a.m. Monday, April 20, 2026, to consider approving the appointment and employment contract for the new Chief Executive Officer of Baltimore City Public Schools. The meeting will take place in the Board Room at the district headquarters, 200 E. North Ave, Baltimore, MD 21202. City Schools presented the district's proposed $1.9 billion budget for the 2026-27 school year to the Board of School Commissioners during the public Board meeting on Wednesday, April 8. The budget details funds which will cover needs surrounding student wholeness, literacy, leadership, equity, and district office structure. Our goal is to have over 90% attendance every day this week, and we need your help to make that happen! Being in school each day is so important for learning, building routines, and staying connected with teachers and classmates.
