City Schools presented the district's proposed $1.9 billion budget for the 2026-27 school year to the Board of School Commissioners during the public Board meeting on Wednesday, April 8. The budget details funds which will cover needs surrounding student wholeness, literacy, leadership, equity, and district office structure. Our students have officially accepted the GHEMS 60-Day Attendance Challenge, and that starts with a simple goal: show up every day, ready to learn.
Parents and guardians—this is where you come in. 60 students were sent home with on orange student-signed pledge sheet. Prior to returning, they will be seeking your signature as well.
