​Happy Monday FSK! I hope you all are keeping cool in this aggressive heat. I wanted to share a few updates with you as we head into the summer: 1. FSK's summer office hours for visitors are 10am to 3pm. For those families with students in summer programming at FSK, please make sure you have the contact information for the site leads for each program: Springboard: Dana Naugle dnaugle@bcps.k12.md.us Freedom School: Amber Ancarrow adancarrow@bcps.k12.md.us Camp Curiosity: Ngozi Ejim ncejim@bcps.k12.md.us ALU: Andrea Moore amoore01@bcps.k12.md.us 2. Springboard Spots available!: There are still a few spots available for the Springboard Summer Program! Please sign up through Infinite Campus or contact Ms. Naugle (dnaugle@bcps.k12.md.us ). Registration closes Thursday, August 3rd. Grades: Pre-k through 6th grade! Days/Time: Monday-Thursday 8:30-12:30 Enrollment link: https://www.tfaforms.com/5025110 3. Report Card Pickup: Final report cards will be available for pickup until Thursday, Jul 3rd. Any report card that hasn't been picked up will be mailed home next week. Families can also access final grades in Campus Portal. 4. Lost and Found Items: We have a ton of clothing items and water bottles that have not been claimed from Lost and Found. We are asking families to please come to the school this week and next week to claim any lost items. Anything not claimed by Thursday, July 10th, will be donated to charity. 5. Summer Camp Opportunity: Leader Breeders is offering a leadership summer camp for students aged 13-17 at the HarBel Community Association. The camp runs from July 28-August 22. Registration is open until July 11th. Please see the attached flyer for more information. 6. Bloomz No More: FSK will no longer utilize Bloomz as our family communication system. City Schools has been transitioning school communities to Thrillshare and Class Dojo for the past two years and it seems the transition is now complete. We received special permission to continue the use of Bloomz for SY 24-25 but now that the transition is done we can no longer use Bloomz. Please be on the lookout for emails from the school on next steps with Class Dojo setup and implementation. Moving forward, any updates that need to be shared will be done via Thrillshare. We will begin using Class Dojo in August. Be safe and be well! --Tenerra McFadden

Good Evening Rising Kindergarten and Rising 7th Grade families. Please read the attached letter regarding required immunizations for students entering kindergarten and 7th grade. Please be sure we have updated immunization records for your students BASED ON THE ATTACHED LETTER by August 15th. Students who do not have updated immunization records on file WILL NOT BE ALLOWED to start school on August 26th. Please reach out if you have any questions. Take care.

Quarter 4 Report Cards will be available for pick up from the main office from Thursday, June 26th to Thursday, July 3rd between the hours of 10am and 2pm. Please be advised that all City Schools are closed on Fridays during the summer, so FSK is closed on June 27th. Please reach out if you have any questions.
