Juneteenth
Did you know? Juneteenth marks the 160th year to the day — June 19, 1865 - when the last enslaved African Americans in Galveston, Texas were finally informed of their freedom... more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation was signed.

It’s a powerful reminder that freedom wasn’t granted all at once — and that the fight for justice has always taken resilience, unity, and time.

Today, we honor that moment in history, celebrate the strength of those who endured, and recognize how far we’ve come - and how much further we must go.

Freedom delayed, but never denied.
