Why don’t giraffes ever get lost? Because they always have a great view of where they’re going!
And Bernie knows exactly where our students should be going this morning — to school!
Every school day matters. Being present and on time helps our students learn, grow, and stay connected with their teachers and classmates.
Breakfast begins at 7:45 AM, and instruction starts promptly at 8:00 AM.
Bernie is stretching his neck to see all of our students walking through the doors today! We’ll see you soon!
Now we want to hear from you! Please take a few minutes to complete our Back to School Night Feedback Survey by scanning the QR code or using the link on the flyer. Your feedback helps us continue creating meaningful experiences for our DBH families.

Dear DBH Families,
Thank you for joining us for Back to School Night! We are grateful to every family who came out to connect with our teachers, school staff, and community partners.
This year, we welcomed 75+ families and 13 community vendors and partners who shared valuable resources and support with our school community. Families also had the opportunity to meet school staff, visit classrooms, and connect directly with teachers.
Your participation helps us build stronger relationships, strengthen our school culture, and create meaningful experiences for our students and families.
We want to hear from you!
Please take a few minutes to complete our Back to School Night Post-Event Survey and tell us about your experience. Your feedback will help us plan and improve future family events.

We are working to make sure as many students as possible have the opportunity to be screened. If your student was absent, not in class, or was not screened today, please make sure they attend school tomorrow, Thursday, September 3, 2026.
These screenings are an important way to help identify vision or hearing concerns that may impact a student’s learning and success in the classroom.
