Annual Review Recommendation:

On January 14, 2025, the Baltimore City Board of School Commissioners voted to approve a set of recommendations to close Edgewood Elementary School in June 2025, at the end of the current school year, and combine the school with Gwynns Falls Elementary School, with a smaller number of students in the Edgewood zone being reassigned to Windsor Hills Elementary/Middle School for school year 2025-26. The Edgewood building will be surplused to the city of Baltimore in summer 2025.
