To ensure a smooth start to the school year, families are encouraged to enroll or request transfers well in advance.

No transfer or interdistrict requests will be accepted after August 8, 2025.

Additional Information:

Families with children in Pre-K through 8th grade may enroll at local schools if seats are available. Please get in touch with the school’s enrollment office for more information.
Charter schools have their own enrollment procedures; contact them directly.
Summer transfer requests are reviewed based on seat availability and program eligibility.
Please bring all required documents to avoid delays.

Student’s birth certificate or other government-issued documentation (passport, military ID, etc)
Parent/guardian photo ID (driver’s license, passport, military ID, employment authorization card, etc)
Two (2) current proofs of Baltimore City residency (dated within the past 60 days) such as a utility bill, mortgage statement, signed/valid residential lease, property tax bill, or government correspondence.
Academic records (final report card/transcript and/or transfer packet from current school)
Immunization records
Custody and/or Court Documentation, if applicable
IEP/504 documentation, if applicable
Pre-K Only: Two (2) proofs of income such as pay stubs, tax returns, cash assistance documentation, etc., and Health Records such as most recent physical examination and blood lead test certificate
