Due to our recent snow days, learning will continue virtually. Here’s exactly what families need to do — super simple 👇

• A tab for each grade level with the daily schedule

For Elementary (K–5):

👩‍🏫 Stay with your homeroom teacher all day.
🎨 Resource teachers will join your regular class.

For Middle School:

• Then log into their resource class
• All resource links are on the FIRST TAB of the spreadsheet.

Due to ongoing storm clean-up, schools will be closed on Wednesday, January 28, 2026. Our virtual learning school, BRAVE, will be open. Central Office will open; staff may work remotely. All essential staff must report. For schools, this will be the third of three traditional snow days that are identified in the district calendar as inclement weather recovery days in June. In the event of future inclement weather closures during the 2025-26 school year, City Schools will transition to virtual learning: https://www.baltimorecityschools.org/page/virtual-learning

Due to inclement weather and the closure of Baltimore City Public Schools on Tuesday, January 27, the Board of School Commissioners' Operations Committee Meeting and Policy Committee Meeting scheduled for January 27 have been canceled. Both meetings will be rescheduled. For questions or further information about the Board, please contact the Board Office at 443-642-4095 or email the School Board at schoolboard@bcps.k12.md.us.

For schools, this is the first day of three traditional winter weather closures that are identified in the District calendar in June as make-up days. Essential personnel must report on Monday.

Due to impending inclement weather, all school weekend activities are cancelled for Saturday, January 24, and Sunday, January 25, 2026. National Academy Foundation's (NAF) In-person Saturday Credit Recovery Program is moving to virtual learning for Saturday, January 24 only. Students, please check your Saturday course Canvas Page: Credit Recovery Saturday School at NAF for your teacher’s Zoom link. You must log in to be marked present. Virtual Saturday Credit Recovery Program students will attend their courses as usual.

Starting January 23, students are invited to wear an orange piece or accessory as we celebrate baseball season, school spirit, and social-emotional growth.
