Student Verification
Returning Baltimore City Public Schools families must complete the Student Verification process before the first day of school.
Families who are NEW to Baltimore City Public Schools do NOT need to complete this form. This includes:
• New Pre-K students entering City Schools for the first time
• Students transferring from another school district, such as Baltimore County or another public or private school system

Wednesday, August 19, 2026
4:30 to 6:00 p.m.
All students and families are invited to:
• Meet your child's teacher
• Visit classrooms
• Explore the school
• Connect with staff
Families who attend will also be entered into a raffle for a chance to win Baltimore Orioles tickets!
First Day of School
Monday, August 24, 2026
• School begins at 8:45 a.m.
• Please arrive on time.
• Breakfast will not be served on the first day of school.
Transportation Information
If you requested Corner-to-Corner bus transportation, watch for a letter from Baltimore City Schools with your bus stop location and times.
If your request was submitted before August 1 and you have not received your transportation information, please contact:

Class Assignments
Student schedules and teacher assignments are expected to be available in the Infinite Campus Parent Portal beginning Friday, August 14.
If you do not have access to Infinite Campus, teacher assignments will also be available during Sneak-a-Peek at Your Seat on Wednesday, August 19.

TOMORROW: National Night Out returns to Furley Elementary School (in the parking lot at 5001 Sinclair Lane) on Tuesday, August 4, from 6–9 p.m. Sponsored by Baltimore City School Police and DTLR, the event brings neighbors together for an evening of food, music, games, and community connections—all in support of safer, stronger neighborhoods. Join us for a FREE summer meal. City Schools students ages 18 and younger can stop by for free breakfast and lunch from the Str/EATs Cafe Food Truck located at the district's Central Office (200 E. North Ave.). Eat breakfast from 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m., or lunch from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. The Str/EATs Cafe will continue serving at Central Office through July 30, Mondays through Thursdays.
