Good day, Rosemont Family! Please see the below notice regarding our Health Suite renovation. We are excited for this project as the updates to our facilities is what our families need and deserve. As with any construction, there will be some disruption to normal operating procedure, but these will be minimal as all construction is happening after school hours and weekends.
Please see the attached notice regarding the construction and abatement. If you have any questions, please make sure you reach out to administration. A paper copy will be going home with your scholars as well. Thank you for your continued support of our vision and mission to change our trajectory!

Good afternoon, Rosemont Families. Just a friendly reminder that tomorrow is our Back to School Night from 4:00 to 6:00. Come out and meet your child's teacher, sign them up for after school programs, after school athletics and meet some of our school partners. We look forward to seeing you tomorrow.

Good afternoon, Rosemont Family. As we rapidly approach and anticipate the start of the school year, the students academic success and social-emotional well being are our top priorities. As more research emerges about the potential negative side effects of prolonged cell phone usage and social media exposure, many schools around the nation are developing portable device protocols. We have also decided to join in these efforts and take a proactive approach here at Rosemont.
We will be instituting a cell-phone lock box where students will place their phone in the morning and receive it back at the end of the school day. This will help to keep their focus on academics, reduce classroom disruptions and keep the devices safe.
In accordance with Baltimore City Schools Code of Conduct and City School Board Policy, portable electronic devices should be "turned off and secured per individual school protocol". Our protocol is the cell phone box. In the past we have relied on students to keep the devices "off and away". This has not worked and has consistently led to lack of focus in class, disruptions at various times of the day, and multiple incidents of broken devices.
Again, our primary focus is to keep students engaged in learning and help positively foster their social-emotional growth. We look forward to partnering with you all in this effort to make Rosemont a place of learning and "Excellence Without Excuse!"
Thank you for your time and see everyone Monday morning.
