Due to ongoing winter storm clean-up and icy conditions, Baltimore City Public Schools will implement virtual learning tomorrow, Friday, January 30, 2026. Families should follow the virtual learning schedule and class links shared by school leaders and/or teachers. Central Office will be open; staff may work remotely. All essential staff to report.

The following schools will be open for meal pick up tomorrow, Friday, January 30, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 pm: Paul Laurence Dunbar High School, Ben Franklin High School at Masonville Cove, City Neighbors High School, Booker T. Washington Middle School.

Today (January 29) and tomorrow (January 30), all Baltimore City Recreation Centers will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Select sites will offer free meals beginning at 3 p.m., while supplies last. Recreation centers providing meals also offer FreeBmoreWifi and limited Chromebook access to support virtual learning. Families are encouraged to bring their own headphones. National Academy Foundation's (NAF) In-person Saturday Credit Recovery Program is moving to virtual learning for Saturday, January 24 only. Students, please check your Saturday course Canvas Page: Credit Recovery Saturday School at NAF for your teacher’s Zoom link. You must log in to be marked present. Virtual Saturday Credit Recovery Program students will attend their courses as usual.

Good day, Rosemont Family. We hope you all had a great winter break and got a chance to spend time with family and friends. School opens tomorrow at 7:30 for breakfast. Also, our Beat the 90 Challenge continues this week. Classes that end the week with 90% or better attendance will receive a prize for the entire class. The classes can win prizes such as a pizza party, tech/phone time, extra recess, etc. Please send your scholars to school every day on time so their class has a chance of winning the prizes. There is no limit on the number of classes that can win. See you all tomorrow!

Happy "67" 67th day of school! Today we suprised our Principals list and Honor roll students with a special party to celebrate their hard work so far this school year!

Looking ahead... We want to get excited about coming to school each day leading up to Winter Break so we will have dress up theme days!

Please refer to the calendar on the school website or class Dojo for more details and remeber if you are not dressing in the theme we have chosen for that day you MUST be in uniform. Additionally, the dress code policy that has been outlined previously applies even when dressing in themed outfits.

Also remember each month we have an attendance celebration for the scholars who have 95% or better attendance!
