High School Choice Parent Session (8th grade families)
I will be hosting a High School Choice parent information session to review the High School Choice application process, types of schools, composite scores, and timeline. The virtual information session will be held via zoom https://us02web.zoom.us/j/87378862485 on Monday, December 8th 5-6pm EST. The session will be recorded and posted on the ParentSquare platform. Middle School Choice ATTENTION ( 5TH GRADE FAMILIES) !!!!!!
You only need to submit an application through SEMS if you are applying for Advanced Academics. If you student is currently a student at Roland Park, not applying to Advanced Academics, and you wish for them to matriculate to 6th grade- YOU DO NOTHING!
Submitting Choice Application (5th and 8th grade families)
Using the Student Enrollment Management System (SEMS) https://parent.bcps-sems.com/, 5th and 8th grade families will be able to complete and submit their Choice applications between December 1st and January 23rd.

Important Dates:
December 1: Composite scores and choice applications available for families in the new Student Enrollment Management System (SEMS): www.baltimorecityschools.org/page/SEMS
December 13: Annual School Choice fair held at the Baltimore Convention Center from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
January 23: Choice applications are due in SEMS (www.baltimorecityschools.org/page/SEMS)
February 2: Charter applications are due. Charter schools have their own application process. Please reach out directly to schools of interest or visit our charter webpage for more information.
