Open enrollment for staff starts Monday, October 26, and runs through Friday, November 6. Open enrollment is a designated period each year when employees can review, select, change, or update their employee benefits for the upcoming plan year.
Benefit carriers will remain the same for 2027, and there are no changes to your plan benefits. However, the Flexible Spending Account (FSA) must be elected each year.
To prepare you, here are some steps you can take to be ready for your 2027 benefits:
Watch your mailbox — Look for your enrollment newsletter in the mail. It has all the details on open enrollment, your 2027 plan rates, and how to enroll.
Visit one of the health and wellness fairs at Central Office — Visit a City Schools Health & Wellness Fair on October 28 or November 5. Get your flu shot, talk with plan representatives, get answers to your benefit questions, receive free and fun health screenings, enjoy free giveaways, and more!
