We are excited to share that the Intent Form for National Board Certification (NBC) Fee Support for SY26-27 is now open!
If you are planning to pursue National Board Certification as an Initial, Continuing, Retake, or Maintenance of Certification (MOC) candidate, you must complete the Intent Form to be considered for fee support.

Why You Must Complete the Intent Form
The Intent Form is the first required step in the NBC Fee Support process. You must complete this form to move forward. Teachers who do not submit the Intent Form will not be able to proceed in the fee support process. No submissions will be accepted after the deadline.
Submitting the Intent Form:
● Notifies the district of your intent to apply
● Allows the team to review your eligibility
● Is required to receive access to the Fee Support Application (Part I & II)
Important Reminders
● The NBC Fee Support process is multi-step, and all steps must be completed by the stated deadlines
● Submitting the Intent Form does not guarantee funding, but it is required to move forward
● All communication and next steps will be sent to your City Schools email
Pre-candidate Information Sessions
The Pre-Candidate Information Sessions are designed to help educators decide if National Board Certification (NBC) is the right next step for their career. Whether new to NBC or seeking more details about its requirements, this series will provide a helpful overview.
Sessions will be held from 3 - 4 p.m. on the following days:
● Tuesday, March 24, 2026
● Thursday, March 26, 2026
Both sessions will include the same content, allowing you to attend the date that works best for your schedule. A recording and corresponding slide deck will also be shared following the session for anyone who is unable to attend or would like to revisit the information.
