City Schools’ Chief of Human Capital, Emily Nielson, has been named the recipient of the 2026 Chief Human Resources Officers Distinguished Service Award and was recently honored during an awards ceremony at the Chief Human Resources Officers Conference in Nashville! 🎉
Nielson was selected following a comprehensive review process in which nominees were evaluated on leadership, impact, innovation, and inclusivity. The award recognizes demonstrated ability to lead and inspire within the HR community, drive transformative organizational advancement, introduce forward-thinking practices in education and human resources, and advance equity through systemic change.
