With more than 20 years of experience in education, Ms. Seantae Beard has dedicated her career to serving students from Pre-K through twelfth grade. Her journey began as a Health and Physical Education teacher and has since grown into more than a decade of leadership experience as an Assistant Principal in both public and non-public schools.
At the heart of Ms. Beard’s philosophy is an unapologetic, student-centered approach:
“I am a revolutionary for children—committed to challenging inequities and ensuring every child not only survives, but thrives. Every decision, every action, begins with them.”
Ms. Beard believes in the power of building strong, positive relationships—with students, staff, families, and the community. She recognizes her role as both a leader and a role model, particularly for students who share her background and experiences.
“I am blessed to be where I am in my career and in life, and I feel a responsibility to pay that forward. I want students who look like me to know that anything is possible when you focus and put in the work.”
As Principal, Ms. Beard is focused on creating a vibrant and inclusive school culture where learning is engaging, meaningful, and joyful. She envisions the school as a true community hub, offering both academic rigor and wraparound supports that nurture students socially and emotionally. Her guiding principle is simple yet powerful: strive for excellence every day.
