City Schools staff collectively raised $81,982.76 in the 2024–2025 United Way of Central Maryland campaign, thanks to the generosity of employees and the dedication of site coordinators.
A special thank you goes to all who contributed, and especially to those who helped organize fundraising events and campaigns across the district. Several offices hosted special events, with the Department of Pupil Transportation (#710) raising $1,605, the Operations Department (#546) contributing $960, and others including the Chief of Schools, Office of Achievement and Accountability, Violetville Elementary, and Human Capital raising over $500 each.
Among those making the greatest monetary contributions, Baltimore Polytechnic Institute (#403) led the district with $4,443 in donations. The Office of the Director of Facilities & Design (#772) followed with $4,160. Additional top-contributing offices included Data Monitoring and Compliance (#623) with $3,614, Govans Elementary (#231) with $3,200, and the Office of Special Education Support (#550) with $2,600.
Two sites achieved 100% staff participation: the Office of Legal Counsel (#542) and Eager Street Academy (#884), highlighting a deep commitment to community impact.
