The Employee Transfer Window for the 2025-26 school year is now open through Friday, May 2.

Employees interested in transferring to a new position must submit an internal application through the City Schools Applicant Tracking System (ATS) by Friday, April 18, for eligible voluntary transfers.

Eligibility for transfer includes voluntary transfers, surplus employees, and staff from closing schools. Key process details include: 

  • Hiring managers and school leaders will review applications on a rolling basis.

  • Applicants must complete the correct application for their desired job title and provide all required information, including employee ID, email, and resume.

  • A list of available vacancies will be posted on the City Schools website starting in late March and updated biweekly.

  • Applicants should allow two to three business days for application screening and eligibility status updates.
