Good afternoon George Washington families! This is a reminder that school will be closed on Monday, November 4, for Professional Development, and Tuesday, November 5 for Election Day. We look forward to seeing everyone back on Wednesday, November 6 and please remember to get out and vote!
Additionally, one of our schoolwide goals is to reduce chronic absences by ensuring fewer students miss 10% (or 18 days) by the end of the school year. To meet the state attendance requirement of 94%, students should miss no more than 2 days per quarter. As of now, students who have missed 4 or more days are at risk of not meeting this goal. Let’s work together to support consistent attendance and help students be present each day.
