Good afternoon George Washington families! This is a reminder that school will be closed on Monday, November 4, for Professional Development, and Tuesday, November 5 for Election Day. We look forward to seeing everyone back on Wednesday, November 6 and please remember to get out and vote! Additionally, one of our schoolwide goals is to reduce chronic absences by ensuring fewer students miss 10% (or 18 days) by the end of the school year. To meet the state attendance requirement of 94%, students should miss no more than 2 days per quarter. As of now, students who have missed 4 or more days are at risk of not meeting this goal. Let’s work together to support consistent attendance and help students be present each day. Thank you for all your efforts to reach this goal! Have an amazing weekend!
