This incredible $50,000 Core Band Grant will jump-start a brand-new instrumental music program at GHEMS—providing 36 brand-new instruments (woodwind, brass, and percussion), music stands, instructional materials, and professional development for our music educator, Mr. Hill, a proud Morgan State University alumnus. 🎶
Thanks to Mr. Hill’s vision and dedication to our students, this grant will open doors for middle-grade scholars to experience the joy, discipline, and creativity that music brings. Over the next 10 years, our students will benefit from ongoing program support, inspiring a new generation of musicians right here in Northeast Baltimore. 💙💛
