This week we hold our first Penny War.
Funds raised through this activity will support end of year events and celebrations. All you have to do is send spare change in with your child(ren). They place pennies and dollars in their grade level jar for positive points. All other coins go in other grades jars as negative points. The grade with the most points at the end of the week will win a popsicle and playground party.

Today is the big day... Celebration of Learning!
Want to flag for you that we are experiencing a power outage in some of our spaces. The back up generator is on. We have lights in most spaces so we are currently moving forward with the school day and our student presentations.
Tomorrow, Friday, January 24th is Celebration of Learning! Come hear from your child what they have been learning about so far this school year.

Federal Hill Prep will be closing today, January 28th at 1:45 due to a water main issue in the neighborhood. There will not be afternoon ALU or clubs.

Due to forecasted inclement weather , all students must be picked up by 3:25. There will not be ALU today.
All district sponsored events for this weekend are postponed.
Monday, December 9th is Keep it Chill Day. Students may wear pajamas or their hat, mittens, and scarves.

We’re partnering with the Heart of the Schools, a local program that supports and recognizes Baltimore City Public Schools leaders, to run a Share Some Love campaign to show appreciation for our staff. The process is simple – you click the link below, select our school, choose the staff member you’d like to write a note to, craft your message, and a designed image is created (you’ll see the picture options in the link).

Media Consent and Opt-Out Form
As the school year gets underway, City Schools wants to remind everyone about the Media Opt-Out Form linked in the Annual Family Guide under "Student Privacy." Families are automatically opted in for media consent upon enrollment. Families can choose to decline being included in media coverage, City Schools publications, social media and more by completing the Media Opt-Out Form. If this form isn’t submitted, students are automatically included in our media policy. This means photos and videos that include them can be shared publicly.

Thursday, October 17th is an early release day. Federal Hill Prep dismisses at 12:45.
There is not 3 year old programming on Thursday.
School is closed on Friday, October 18th for all students.
