City Schools offers credit recovery option with Saturday School program

High School students who are behind on school credits can recover credits through City Schools’ free Saturday School. Registration begins January 7, and Saturday School begins on January 28.

Saturday School programming is open to all high school students who are not currently enrolled in a credit recovery program at their home school. Saturday School will run for 14 weeks from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. starting on January 28, through May 20.

All students must register in-person at the Saturday School program site they wish to attend. Saturday School will be offered at the following sites:

· MERVO Vocational- Technical High School
· Paul Laurence Dunbar High School
· Excel Academy
Carver Vocational-Technical High School

All sites will be open for registration on January 7 and 21 from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. The last day to register will be January 28 from 8 a.m. – 3 p.m. After January 28, students will not be allowed to register for Saturday School.
