Google

Uses for the G Suite

Google’s G Suite gives students and staff access to a large range of Google applications. These applications include Google Classroom, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Calendar, Meets and Gmail. All these applications can be very useful in the virtual learning environment and as a Baltimore City Schools student or staff member you have access to these applications for free. Simply follow the directions below to gain access.

Logging Into the G Suite

City Schools Google accounts are federated. This means that login prompts users to enter their district usernames and passwords.

1. Start by going to Google website and clicking Sign In.

2. Enter your full username

If you are a student: PupilID@bcpss.org

If you are a staff member: Email Address

3. Enter your full username again and your password

Hints:

  • Students must "exist" in the system order to have an account. As long as you see your students on your Infinite Campus roster, they should have access to district applications.

  • Students transferring from another district may not have accounts when they first enter class. This process can take up to a week.

  • Students who have forgotten their passwords must contact a Student User Account Admin (SUAA) to have their password reset. At Poly the SUAAs are Dr. O’Neill (email Dr. O’Neill), Dr. Lorenzo (email Dr. Lorenzo), Mr. Ray (email Mr. Ray), and Mr. Woolston (email Mr. Woolston)
