Food & Nutrition Services is excited to provide meals to young people during the summer. Just like during the regular school year, meals are prepared by our dedicated cafeteria staff and served free of charge to young people.
Principals or program coordinators must register for each summer program occurring in their school.
Registration Deadline: Friday, May 22, 2026.
Important Registration Information
Meals served by City Schools Food & Nutrition Services are only available in Baltimore City Public School buildings.
Youth are eligible if they are between 3 and 18 years old, or turning 19 during the summer.
All sites operate as open sites, meaning that meals are available to all youth, including those who are not enrolled in programs at the site. No eligible youth may be turned away.
Each program requires its own registration by program staff. Do not combine multiple programs in one submission.
Do not register programs run by the district's Office of Teaching and Learning or the Extended School Year team. If you are unsure whether your program should register, contact the Summer Meal Coordinator.
If you have any questions or need further details, please reach out to Food & Nutrition Services via email.
