I am the seventh grade science teacher at Armistead Gardens. I am in my second year of teaching and just moved from Los Angeles, California. I went to Syracuse University in Syracuse, NY and am currently a Masters student at Johns Hopkins University. I have two younger siblings. MY favorite color is green and I LOVE growing plants in every corner of my apartment.

I am the 7th grade math teacher! I've been teaching middle school math at AG for 15 years. I've been in Baltimore City Schools for over 20 years.
I was born and raised in Virginia and I have two brothers.
I love Virginia Tech - Go Hokies! And the Steelers.
In my free time, I play the guitar, listen to audiobooks, and keep Ms. Karre, my best friend, from going too crazy.

I am one of the middle school Social Studies teachers at AG! I have been here for the last 13 years. I used to teach Language Arts, but switched to Social Studies a few years ago. I moved to Baltimore from my hometown in Michigan. I went to Hamline University in St. Paul, MN and got my Masters at Johns Hopkins.
I love hiking, running (especially in the woods), my dog Oski Bear (I'll miss Maddox for the rest of my life), camping (especially in Wyoming in the summer), sailing and paddleboarding, traveling, concerts, wandering around new places, the Die Hard movies, the show Young Royals, and above all else, Harry Styles.
My top favorite books are The Hunger Games series, The Long Run, The Beartown Saga, My Grandmother Asked Me to Tell You She's Sorry, The Graceling series, and The Traitor's Circle trilogy.

I'm a 7th Grade ELD Teacher previously called ESOL. I'm from Panama. I came to Baltimore in 2008 and got a Masters in Special Education in what was known as College of Notre Dame now is University of Notre Dame. I worked as a Special Educator for 3 years. I did my internship in Armistead back in 2009. Now I'm back to Armistead since 2023. I love my husband and my dog Oji, getting to know new people, do the genealogy of my family, watch Anime or Korean dramas, all kind of movies and crime shows, go for long walks out in the nature, visit new places, visit my home country and eat Panamanian food, trying food from different countries, work out with friends and sleep when there's a storm or it's raining outside. My favorite books are The Mortal Instruments Series, Twilight Series, Crime Thrillers and Detective books and The Scriptures.
