I am the 5th grade Social Studies and Science teacher at AG! I have been teaching in Baltimore City for three years and this is my first year teaching at AG. I previously taught 2nd grade English Language Arts and Social Studies in Baltimore City. I am originally from Morristown, New Jersey and came to Baltimore in 2017 to get my undergraduate degree at Loyola University Maryland. When I am not teaching, I love reading, going on runs, and spending time with family and friends.

I have been at Armistead Gardens for 18 years. I have taught 7th grade, 6th grade, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grades. This year I am teaching 5th grade language arts. I went to Towson University for my bachelor's degree and master's degree. I enjoy teaching reading and love to read. I enjoy doing crafts, scrapbooking, reading, listening to music, watching movies, and going on road trips. I love making volcanoes with my students, planning Family Reading night, and teaching at Armistead Gardens.

I am excited to enter my 17th year of teaching and returning to AG after three years with the Virtual Learning Program. I am teaching 5th grade math and am thrilled to be part of the AG team once again. I am originally from Pennsylvania and am a Philly sports fan. I do cheer for the Orioles, too, unless they are playing the Phillies. I thoroughly enjoy most sports. I recently started playing soccer and enjoy it a lot. Baseball is still my favorite. One of my favorite activities is to catch a baseball game in person, especially with my wife and three children. When I am not teaching, or playing/watching sports, I enjoy reading and listening to/playing music.
