The Navigator Center supports City Schools graduates with the transition from high school to a career.

Every summer, experts can help students explore job opportunities, apply to jobs, complete the college transition process, enroll in the armed forces, match with apprenticeships, along with a variety of other postsecondary coaching support services.   • Grads2Careers: Grads2Careers helps Baltimore City Schools graduates connect with free job training and find employment in careers of interest. Grads2Careers offers several different tracks in the biotechnology, construction, healthcare, medical front office, hospitality, information technology, distribution & logistics, and land surveying fields. ​
  • Americorps or City Year: Members commit their time to address critical community needs like increasing academic achievement, mentoring youth, fighting poverty, sustaining national parks, preparing for disasters, and more.
  • Year Up: Our one-year training program and six-month internship is about gaining access, getting your foot in the door, and making connections that count. Earn college credit at one of our college partners OR up to 30 ACE college credit recommendations.
  • Mayor’s Office of Employment Development: Provides job seeker services, career workshops, and trainings.
  • Apprenticeship Maryland or Apprenticeship.Gov: Apprenticeships include a paid period of training that allows students to learn a particular skill or set of skills in an industry-driven, high-quality career pathway. 
  • Department of Rehabilitation Services (DORS): DORS helps people with disabilities who want to work. DORS helps prepare people with disabilities to go to work or keep the job they have.
