Baltimore Collegiate School for Boys will be closing the summer program/ESY on Thursday 7/18 and Friday 7/19.
Thousands of students, teachers, and members of the broader community visit Great Kids Farm every year to learn about the importance of healthy foods and the environment. The 33-acre farm, operated by City Schools, is located just outside Baltimore City in Catonsville.
Elementary and middle school students participate in hands-on learning activities, meet the animals, taste the produce, and work together to strengthen their understanding of nutrition, agriculture, and natural resources. High school students who work at the farm can earn credits in their Career and Technology pathways, preparing them for jobs in agriculture, hospitality, business, and construction trades.
