Middle and High School Choice
Every student is unique, with her or his own strengths, interests, and plans for the future. That's why at City Schools, all students choose the high schools they want to attend and many also choose their middle schools. With their families, students can plan their path from elementary school to high school graduation, attending the schools that will best meet their needs and prepare them for success in college and career.
School choice starts by finding out about the options — what different schools offer, where they're located, whether they have special requirements to get in. Families should start thinking about these things as early as 3rd or 4th grade, so that students keep all doors open for getting into their top-choice schools and programs, including those that have academic entrance criteria or special admission requirements.
