Soccer Boys  BIA's Soccer TeamsSoccer girls

BIA is proud to have both a Boy's and a Girl's soccer team for our students this year. Soccer is played between schools in the BCPS system.
The teams are coached by Mr. Nono Muyo, who has coached, or assisted coaching, our soccer teams since BIA first entered the intramural sport. He is assisted by Mr. Chernov, the school's Physical Education instructor. Both men have a great love of the game and a commitment to helping our students bring out their best through healthy exercise, team development and good, clean fun!
The soccer teams are composed of predominantly middle school students; those are the age groups that are competing in BCPS.
All games start promptly at 3:30 p.m. Students will get out of class for "away" games at 2:15 to change and get equipment ready for games. Click on the links below to see the schedule for the games:
    • Students should bring their soccer clothes with them on Game days and Practice days
    • Clothes can be their BIA gym clothes or personal shorts or sweats
    • Blue jeans do not offer enough flexibility for the sport; No Jeans!
    • Tennis/athletic shoes are required for running on the field; cleats are best of all
Soccer practice might be held in the gym on Rainy Days....... the coaches will determine if students will play indoors or outdoors
