City Schools’ Certification Office provide certification services to current certificated employees (teachers, specialists, and administrators) in contracted positions (Baltimore Teachers Union and PSASA).  If your position does not require an educator certificate to perform essential functions of your job, you must request certification directly through MSDE.  If you have questions, please email us or call 410-396-8885.

The Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) released The Educator Application and Certification Hub (TEACH)!  All Baltimore City Public Schools educators will have access to the online TEACH Dashboard to apply for application of certification, download their certificate, access various online services, and update their contact information.

TEACH requires completion of a one-time registration that will provide you with a username and password for log in. If you previously had an account in the MSDE educator information system, you must register through TEACH to access your account.
