Make yourself count: Fill out the Census!
Every ten years, everyone living in the United States is asked to fill out the census. The census is a a simple survey about you and who is living with you on April 1, 2020. All information is confidential. A lot of decisions are made based on how many people are counted by the census. For every person not counted in Baltimore, the city loses $18,000 in federal funding.
Check your mail for a post card invitation or questionnaire in mid-March. You can complete the census as soon as you receive them. The census can also be filled out online and on the phone. We'll share that information when it becomes available.
