• New teacher boot camp

All leaders / Deadline: July 28

The Office of Teacher Support and Development is inviting all newly hired teachers and those moving through the hiring process to attend the first annual New Teacher Boot Camp. New teachers will form a collaborative, ongoing professional learning community while exploring ways to create a positive classroom culture, effectively manage students’ behavior through incentives and consequences, and build strong relationships with students. The camp will focus on implementing effective classroom management processes to raise the bar of achievement for every student. While teachers will not receive a stipend for participating, they will receive prizes and give-a-ways throughout the week.

Registration for the New Teacher Boot Camp is now open and will close on Thursday, July 28. New teachers can access the registration survey by clicking here.
