OverviewThe primary purpose of employee evaluation is to improve the quality of education received by students. The evaluation process must allow and encourage supervisors and employees to work together to improve and enhance learning environments across the district.City Schools recognizes that all employees are essential to the district’s overall success, which is achieved by empowering all employees to perform to the best of their abilities. City Schools has developed evaluation processes that reflect best practice in employee evaluation and that meet negotiated agreements for employees in different bargaining units. For questions related to observations and evaluations, please email the employee effectiveness team in the Human Capital Office.Supervisors who need access to Manager Self Service should submit a service request to the Information Technology Office via the HEAT portal.
